University of Geneva

The University of Geneva was founded by John Calvin and Théodor de Bèze in 1559.

Significance Beza was a French reformed theologian. John Calvin appointed Beza to be the rector in the academy in Geneva. He became the leader of the church in Geneva after Calvin's death.
